How to Upload Your Logo to an Apple Wallet Loyalty Card

Your logo is the most-seen part of your loyalty card — it lives in the top-left of every Apple Wallet pass and in the program header of every Google Wallet pass. Get it right once and it shows up the same way on every customer phone.

Where to upload the logo

In the merchant app open More, then Branding. The logo upload is the first card on the screen. Drag-and-drop or tap to choose a file.

After upload you'll see a live preview of how the pass renders with your logo in place.

Why a transparent PNG is best

Apple Wallet draws your logo on top of the pass background color you chose. If the logo has a white rectangle behind it, that white rectangle shows up. Transparent PNGs blend cleanly into any background color.

Google Wallet places the logo on a small white circular avatar; the same transparent PNG works there too.

What if my logo fetch fails

Wallet Loyalty caches your logo on our server and includes it in the pass file. If a fetch ever fails, the system falls back to a neutral placeholder so the pass keeps rendering instead of breaking. Re-upload to fix.

Updating the logo after launch

Re-upload anytime. Existing customers receive an updated pass automatically through the wallet's push channel within seconds. There is nothing for them to do.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the same logo for both wallets?

Yes. One upload covers Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.

My logo looks pixelated on the pass — what went wrong?

Either the source file is too small or it was scaled up before upload. Use at least 480 x 480px.

Why does my logo appear on a colored background instead of transparent?

Apple Wallet always renders the pass background as a solid color. Choose a brand color that complements your logo.
